HDSB Student Learning Outside the Classroom


HDSB has a new Twitter feed dedicated to online learning resources for families to use during school closure. Daily activities for students will be posted in the subject areas of literacy (HDSBLiteracy), math (HDSBMath), outdoor education, English as a second language, French, Science & Technology (HDSBScienceTech), and Kindergarten.

Ministry of Education: Learn at Home

The Ontario Ministry of Education has launched its Learn at Home online portal, the first phase of its new resources, for families so elementary and secondary students can continue learning while schools are closed. The Ministry is also working with TVO andTFO to roll-out education programming on their broadcast channels, with a phased-in approach during the next few weeks.
